The Starfish swam well against two great Bluffton teams that are deep with talent. Even though the Starfish swam well, the girls lost by a score of 52-122 and the boys lost with a sore of 62-120.
Hannah Neuenschwander, Trey Lehman, and Curtis Sprunger were the only swimmers for South Adams who earned a first place finish. The first place finishes were in the butterfly, backstroke, and breaststroke respectively.
Second place finishes were put up by all six A relays. The girls medley relay consisted of Addisyn Hunley, Maggie Nussbaum, Hannah Neuenschwander, and Michelle Sandoval. The boys medley relay consisted of Trey Lehman, Curtis Sprunger, Zach Herman, and Race Anderson. The 200 freestyle relays consisted of Neuenschwander, Sandoval, Aubri Gerber, and Claire Burson and Lehman, Herman, Isaac Gorreel, and Anderson. The A 400 free relays were comprised of Hunley, Nussbaum, Gerber, and Burson ,as well as Colin Alberson, Nate White, Alec Neuenschwander, and Isaac Gorrell.
Individual second place finishers were Claire Burson in the 200 and 100 free, Maggie Nussbaum in the IM and breaststroke, Aubri Gerber in the 50 free, Isaac Gorrell in the 50 free, Zach Herman in the butterfly, Colin Alberson in the 500 free, and Addisyn Hunley in the backstroke.
The Starfish will be back in action tomorrow night when they travel to Delta.
