The Starfish split with Coldwater. The girls lost by a score of 109-66, and the boys won with a score of 112-20.
For the girls, the A 400 free relay was the only victorious SA relay. Those that swam on the relay were Addisyn Hunley, Aubri Gerber, Maggie Nussbaum, and Claire Burson. SA had only two individual winners, they were Burson in the 200 and 500 free and Hannah Neuenschwander in the fly. Relays and swimmers earning second place finishes were the A 200 medley relay, which consisted of Addisyn Hunley, Maggie Nussbaum, Neuenschwander, and Michelle Sandoval; the A 200 free relay, consisting of Neuenschwander, Sandoval, Gerber, and Burson; Gerber in the 50 free; Hunley in the 100 free and backstroke; and Nussbaum in the breaststroke.
For the boys, all three A relays were victorious and all three B relays placed second. Individual winners were Colin Alberson in the 200 and 500 free, Curtis Sprunger in the IM and breaststroke, Aidan VonGunten in the 50 and 100 free, Zach Herman in the fly, and Trey Lehman in the backstroke. Second place finishers were Race Anderson in the 200 free, Isaac Gorrell in the 50 and 100 free, Blaine Harruff in diving, Nate White in the 500 free, and Herman in the backstroke
The Starfish will be back in action on Tuesday when they travel to Jay County to swim against Jay and Muncie Central.
