The Starfish split with Muncie Burris. The girls lost a close meet by a score of 82-84, and the boys won with a score of 101-75. The Starfish had a strong showing in the pool. Numbers played a large role in the girls defeat.
For the girls, both the A medley relay, comprising of Addisyn Hunley, Maggie Nussbaum, Hannah Neuenschwander, and Isabel VonGuntel, and the A 200 free relay, comprising of Addisyn Hunley, Michelle Sandoval, Claire Burson, and Aubri Gerber, won. Individual winners were Claire Burson in the 200 and 500 free events, Maggie Nussbaum in the 200 IM and 100 breast, Isabel VonGunten in the 50 free, Addisyn Hunley in the backstroke
For the boys, both the A medley relay, comprising of Trey Lehman, Curtis Sprunger, Aidan VonGunten, and Isaac Gorrell, and the A 200 free relay, comprising of Aidan VonGunten, Race Anderson, Isaac Gorrell, and Trey Lehman, were victorious. Individual winners were Aidan VonGunten in the 200 IM, Blaine Harruff in diving, Zach Herman in the 100 fly, Isaac Gorrell in the 100 free, and Trey Lehman in the 100 backstroke.
Several personal best times were swam, including some of the biggest drops of the season. The Starfish will be back in action on Thursday against Huntington North at the Huntington County YMCA.
