Our winter teams were in full action this weekend. Here is a short recap of everything that went on.
The girls swim team participated in the State Finals at the IU Natatorium. SA sent our 200 medley relay, 400 free relay, and Cady Farlow in the 100 Free and 100 Breaststroke, which is a great accomplishment considering we were the smallest school in Indiana represented.

Sawyer Miller improved his record to 41-0 by winning the IHSAA Semi-State. Sawyer advances to the IHSAA State Finals Friday at Banker’s Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

The girls basketball season came to an end Friday night with a 49-38 sectional loss to Churubusco. The girls finished the season 14-10, which ties the school record for wins in a season from the 1980-81 season. The 27 wins in the last two seasons also ties the record of most wins in back to back seasons since the 1979 and 1980 seasons.

Saturday, the boys basketball team lost a tough game to the #7 2A Churubusco Eagles. The boys led for a majority of the game but Busco fought back and took the lead in the 4th to win 59-55. The loss evens our record at 9-9.
